1. Ever wonder what to do with those miniature pumpkins and gourds that you see on display at the garden center or pumpkin patch each October? Here’s a simple solution.
Create a beautiful, textured centerpiece with just a few simple, seasonal elements.
In the photo below note how we established a strong, balanced foundation for our centerpiece by placing the largest piece, in this case
tag’s very realistic Harvest Leaf Terracotta Large Pumpkin, in the center of our hand-woven seagrass “gathering” basket.
The basket’s graceful handles add elegant height to the setting. We then surrounded the pumpkin with real, white, pumpkin-like gourds that echo the shape of the pumpkin, but add a subtle ivory-white brilliance to the arrangement.
The counterpoint of the natural surfaces of the gourds, pumpkin, and seagrass basket adds textural interest to the centerpiece.
Place it on your dining room table, or on the sideboard or counter, throughout autumn for a beautiful seasonal accent whose muted, organic colors will work with any décor. You’ll notice that, if necessary, you can easily move this centerpiece from surface to surface by just picking it up by the basket’s handles!
2. A simple yet elegant table accent,
tag’s Dakota Votive Holder is all you need for a centerpiece that adds grace and warm candlelight to your autumn table.
The antique bronze finish and handmade wrought form work perfectly with the earth tones of a classic American fall décor scheme. At over three feet in length, but with tastefully tapered metallic elements, it will bring your table to life without overwhelming it.
A graceful variation on our Dakota Votive Holder is this s-shaped piece that adds a gentle curve and graduated height to the multiple votive theme.
At just over two feet in length, it’s ideal for smaller dinner tables, or as the focal point of a cocktail table.
3. tag designers have crafted lovely autumn décor accents inspired by the natural world. The Harvest Gourd Bud Vases combined with our Harvest Berry Candle Wreath will give your table an organic, harvest-time, seasonal feeling.
The Gourd Bud Vase collection comes as a set of three shapes, but in this case we decided that using just two would give better balance to our table arrangement with the tag pillar candle and Berry Wreath. The third vase can then be set in a bookcase or on an end table to add visual rhythm to your home.
Our Harvest Fruit & Pinecone Candle Wreath is a beautifully styled arrangement of colorful autumn leaves, fruit, and pinecones.
Because of the rich variety of elements in the wreath’s composition, just adding a
tag 3” x 4” pillar candle is all you need for a perfect fall centerpiece.
4. In this dramatic composition we started with three
tag Cylinder Hurricane Vases. These large handmade, cut and polished glass pieces provide the three dimensional canvas for our arrangement in soft ivory, deep red, and wheat brown.
In the first hurricane, we placed our
tag pillar candles in a bed of unshelled almonds. The white gourds in the smallest hurricane echo the light, warm ivory color tones of the nut shells and the candles. Rich contrast is provided by the stylized pomegranate red vase in the tallest hurricane, accented with deep brown hay or wheat stalks. We especially liked the “vase in a vase” concept that works particularly well when you combine a softly sculpted, curved bud vase with a straight-sided hurricane.
