tag Must Haves for Your Table
We’re not talking basics here, like dinnerware or glassware. You may already have your favorite stemware and dishes in your cabinet. We’ve selected five items that you may not have in your tabletop collection but that can add design and color to every occasion.
1. Runners. As a change from your tablecloths or placemats, try setting your table with a colorful runner as the base of your arrangement. Whether solid color, patterned or crafted of natural renewable materials, a runner can add interest as it allows the beauty of your table to remain visible to your guests.

2. Votives. Pretty on their own, or as a horizontal accent to more vertical tapers. Choose votive holders crafted of brightly colored glass to add a warm glow to your table. Both the candles and the holders are inexpensive and can be combined in dozens of fun arrangements.

3. Plate Racks. If space is an issue on your table, a tiered plate rack offers an elegant solution. They utilize often neglected vertical space, and offer a visually interesting way to present hors d’oeuvres, rolls, appetizers, cookies, or crackers and cheese.

4. Salad dressing/sauce servers. If you serve salad, don’t forget the dressing. Colorful dressings not only look good on the salad, they can look good on your table. Our clear salad dressing server is a simple and elegant matching of style and function. The clear glass allows the natural color of your favorite vinaigrettes and creamy dressings to shine through. It can also be used to serve a variety of warm and cold sauces—great for syrups and compotes.

5. Individual salt and pepper shakers. A couple of young children visited our showroom recently and had no end of fun running from table to fixture to shelf finding our wide variety of individual salt and pepper shakers. They’re collectible, and when you place them around the table, your family and guests are certain to pick them up and admire.
