Design Your Table With tag Color!
Take a look at the walls, table, chair and even the door in this room ...
It was a lovely, textured space before we set the table, but very monochromatic. In fact, the room is very reminiscent of a blank canvas. And that’s how we approached designing this table, as if we were composing an oil painting rich in color and pattern.
We began with our Jardin "lemons and olives" table runner. A runner was the perfect choice for this presentation as it allowed the wonderfully weathered table surface to remain visible to our guests. We continued with Jardin ceramics which include bakeware and serving pieces in eggplant purple, tomato red, bell pepper yellow and moss green. Our lovely Jardin green terracotta pitcher made a perfect vase, and a cute pair of "tomato" salt and pepper shakers added a fun, colorful accent.
The final touches? Big, bold sunflowers balanced against the delicate glow of our amber votive holders. Note how the translucent glass coordinates beautifully with the solid purple of the chip-and-dip.
